VISION Quest

As Women, we are inherently cyclical. From the grand movements of celestial bodies moved by the magic of the moon, to the rhythms and patterns within our own. We are meant to live and create from our Feminine Flow.
We are meant to flow in and out of our businesses as the seasons change our world around us, and our internal cycles change the world inside us. We are meant to slow down. Like way the fuck down.
We are here to show the world that we must build
in a different way.
One led through
The Feminine.
How do we find our direction when we are lost in the woods? We use an iPhone compass. So what if we started using a compass to guide us in the woods of building our businesses?
The North is where Winter sleeps. It is the season of stillness, rest, and dormancy.
The East is where Spring emerges. It is the season of new beginnings, the awakening of life, and the return of light.
The South is where Summer sings. It is the season of peak solar energy, heat, and full vitality.
The West is where Autumn awaits our arrival. It is the season of harvest, emotional reflection, and the preparation for winter's quiet slumber.
We know our traditional four seasons, in the Northern Hemisphere. Spring, Summer, Autumn. & Winter. Well naturally, those seasons sync up with our Four Cardinal Directions. Shocking right?
So let’s dive a little deeper. In modern paganism, the passing of the seasons is called the Wheel of the Year. The Wheel of the Year is an annual cycle of eight seasonal festivals, also known as Sabbats. It's a calendar that celebrates and honors the changing seasons and the natural cycles of the Earth, including birth, growth, death, and rebirth.
Most of us have heard of Samhain, Beltane & Imbolc. Those are just three of the eight festivals. The eight festivals just so happen to include our two equinoxes and our two solstices. Which not only gives our businesses our fiscal quarters, but our ideations can begin moving into actionable marketing plans because we begin to set dates of execution. How morbid. I love it. The wheel perfectly parses out our year as we evolve with the seasons and our creations begin to find their way to land.
Each Element correlates to a Cardinal Direction and therefore a Season.
Winter in the North represents the element of Earth. The element of stability, grounding, and our connection with mother nature. The earth is dormant and hard under the frost, holding the potential for new life within its soil, waiting for the return of spring.
Spring in the East represents the element of Air. The element of intellect, inspiration, and new ideas. The fresh breeze and the scent of lilac blossoms fill the air, representing a new breath of life into the world.
Summer in the South represents the element of Fire. The elements of passion, power, and transformation. The long, hot days and vibrant energy of nature are a clear representation of fire's dominance.
Autumn in the West represents the Element of Water. The element of emotion, intuition, and the subconscious. As the energy of nature begins to ebb, it's a time for looking inward and for the "weeping" of rain that often characterizes the season.
And as luck would have it, we have four bodies of wellness within us that correlate to all of the above. Our Spirit Body, Mind Body, Physical Body & Emotional Body.
Our Spirit Body:
Represented by the the Direction of North, the season of Winter, and the element of Earth. Symbolizing wisdom, ancestors, and a connection to the spiritual world or a higher power. It is the direction of cleansing and transformation.
Our Mind Body:
Represented through the direction of East, the season of Spring, and the element of Air. Symbolizing clarity, vision, learning, and the intellectual aspects of life. It's the direction from which new ideas and inspiration come.
Our Physical Body:
Represented through the direction of South, the season of Summer, and the element of Fire. Symbolizing physical strength, vitality, and the tangible world.
Our Emotional Body:
Represented by the direction of West, the season of Autumn, and the element of Water. It represents the realm of feelings, inner wisdom, and the subconscious mind. It's a place for healing and confronting one's inner self.
